FOR Thurumu pachadi
kobbari maamidi – 2
jaggery – 100gms ( can be added 150gms also, if sweet taste is not liked, jaggery can be avoided )
salt – 100 gms
oil – 100 gms
roasted fenugreek seeds powder – 3tbs
mustard powder – 4 tbs
red chilly powder – 7 tbs
for tempering – 2 tbs mustard seeds, red chillies n asafoetida.

grate mangoes , mix jaggery with grated mango (if you want to avoid jaggery, add 5 tbs of gingelly oil to the pulp n microwave it ) pulp n microwaive for 7-8 min. mix well n let it cool. add mustard poweder n chilli powder to the mixture.
heat oil , add mustard seeds, 4 red chillies, asafoetida, when it starts splutter, add roasted fenugreek powder and switch off the flame.
add the tempering to mango pulp, mix it thoroughly ,
and allow it to cool .
it goes very well with rice, upma , chapatis, dosa , idli as well .


Step 1

grate the mangoes mix jaggery or oil microwave for 7-8 min allow it to cool

Step 2

add mustard powder and salt to the pulp mix it well then add chilly powder

Step 3

along with tempering mix it thoroughly garlic and curry leaves also can be added to the tempering before switch off the flame
