  • Gongura
  • 20-25 red chillies
  • 2 tbs fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tbs urad dal
  • 1 tbs mustard seeds
  • gingelly oil - 6-7 tbs



Step 1

Heat 2 tbs oil...add gongura...and saute for 4-5 min..until it turns soft...add 1/2 tbs salt take it into a bowl...

Step 2

heat 4 tbs oil...add tempering ingredients ...saute until they turn brown.... add asafoetida to the blender....then add tempering also to it...

Step 3

grind it to coarse....add fried gongura to it..before blending...mix it well with ground masala....then grind for few seconds..

Step 4

take it into two serving bowls... in one bowl...add 11-1/2 tbs dry roasted sesame seed powder..mix it tastes very well with this.. in another one....sliced onion to be fried along with green chillies ..add it to second bowl of chutney...
