  • 20 Lemons
  • salt as per the quantity
  • 1/4 tbs turmeric powder
  • 3 tbs gingelly oil
  • 1/2 tbs mustard seeds
  • 2/3 red chillies
  • asafoetida
  • roasted fenugreek seed powder - 1-1/2 tbs


Step 1

cut lemon into 4 pcs, add salt n turmeric n keep it for 2 days. 3rd day take out lemon pcs from the juice n spread them in a plate which can be microwaived. microwaive for 6 mins. let it cool for 2-3 hrs. add 1 tbs of mustard seed powder, 6 tbs red chilli powder to it. dont mix it.

Step 2

heat oil in a kadai, add tempering ingredients, saute until it turns brown, add roasted fenugreek seed powder to it . switch off the flame. let it cool for some time. add it to lemon pcs mixture. mix it well. it can be preserved in a ceramic jar or bottle.
