Ingredients

  • gongura 250grms
  • chopped bottle gourd pcs
  • 4/5 green chillies
  • soaked chana dal 3 tbs
  • turmeric powder -1/2 tbs
  • salt as per taste
  • gingelly oil
  • 2 red chillies
  • 1/2 tbs urad dal
  • 1/2 tbs chana dal
  • 1/2 tbs mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tbs cumin seeds
  • hing or garlic (optional)

 

Method

Step 1

heat oil add tempering ingredients....when they turn brown...add copped bottle gourd ...mean while ...gongura to be kept in microwave for 4 min...

Step 2

add this gongura also ...and cook it for 3-4 min...and add pulusu podi...to the mixture....with this spicy pulusu podi....it gets binded.well..and gives extraordinary taste to this....

Step 3

if gongura is not sour...u can add a little tamarind pulp to this...take it into a serving bowl.... heat oil....add 1/4 spoon cumin seeds...garlc n few curry leaves....garnish gongura
